The chef's knife is probably the one I use the most, so far. But all the knives I ordered our great choppers and general purpose. Kitchen knives. The magnetic display board is no joke. Powerful magnet that works on both sides. I have all four of the new knives I ordered, the four stake knives and an older knife that was given to me by my grandfather.
Sharp, durable, balanced, pay close attention to care for the high carbon steel and with three you have a good set for life. I use mine every chance I get and absolutely love the way the cut, dice, and slice meat and veggies. The meat comes right off the bone as precise as you want it sliced or diced. Overall great knives
This knife is awesome! Great weight and balance. It feels natural in your hand, and will slice through a tomato like butter.

Love this awesome set of knives! Really needed knives that properly work and man these things truly cut and are excellent workhorses for any kitchen task. A bit pricier than I would ask for, but how can you argue with this quality that will last multiple years if not decades. It's like a pair of glasses, cost a bit to get real good ones, but they will definitely be worth it and last you a long while!

Normally I use my promaja knife to do vegetables, but last night I decided to try chopping vegetables with the chef’s knife. It worked slick, a simple rocking motion and worked my way down the celery stalks. I made 1/8” slices out of two cucumbers and did several carrots. I also sliced some radishes, it is a winner. I have used it to make chicken tenders out of chicken breasts and to dice up roasts for chili. The edge is amazing and the knife is easy to use. You just can’t beat that promaja though.
Held out as long as I could because I don’t want to spend money and get ripped off again. Wish I would’ve known sooner that these knives are the real deal!!! I’m very happy with my purchases! That’s plural because, after I bought the first set, I decided I like them so much I bought another set of different models! Totally worth the money and they’re knives that’ll be passed down the generations.
The Promaja is the best slicing knife you will ever find. Cuts so clean and sharp like nothing I’ve ever used before Looks so cool too. Such an amazing knife. Any thickness. any steak, and Cuts perfect every time. Has become my wife’s favorite too.

OMG! Christmas Ham will never be served again without using the chef’s knife for carving the ham. Love them all! They came in sharp but, I like to put my own Edge on. Sharpened up really nice and stupid sharp now.
To be honest, upon opening the box I was quite disappointed that the knife was very dull. That being said, I quickly sharpened it up and have been very pleased with the quality of the knife. Just heavy enough for tough cuts yet extremely manageable. I am very happy with the purchase.
